I set the turtle plush that I was given as a present down by the stairs before walking out of the hotel. I was cosplaying as Ana but also had a face mask on that was obstructing my view. We were trying to fight for the first point on Hollywood but the gun prop I had carried with me was useless. Some people were asking where one of the characters that someone else had dressed up as was from. “Some American reality TV show” someone replied.

I ran back to the hotel on the beach and went upstairs to my room. There was a futuristic blue light decor throughout the hotel. I simply wanted to put my stuff down before running back out to join everyone else.

I ran back down the stairs to see my plush turtle again but this time its shell had separated from its body. Also under the stairs were a pile of T-shirts. The four shirts were of different colors and each had what seemed to be a graphic of a green turtle on it. However on closer inspection, I found out that one of them had a Chikorita instead. I picked up my plush and walked out the door. Once I was on the beach, I kept running back and forth, debating whether or not I wanted to run upstairs again to put it in my room or to carry it along with me.

I found a group of 6 or so small palm trees in a semi-enclosed area. I tried to balance the two separate parts of the plush onto the tree thinking that I’ll come back to it when I’m older (20 years old to be exact).

– (1) I am absolutely sure that the turtle is here because of that turtle emoji ranking post. (2) I guess I don’t feel like I’m already 20 - and soon to be 21.
