We were driving up the east coast of Taiwan and stopped at a resting/scenic spot that overlooked the ocean. There was a reflecting pool with flowing water by the road and my uncle asked, “do you know how this works?” I said of course so he asked me where the water was coming from. I pointed to the pipe at the bottom of the pool. Then he asked where the water was going. I told him that it flowed off the edges before circulating back into the pool. “No. It flows down the cliff as a weapon” he corrected. He said that I was taking things too literally.
The small waterfall beside us suddenly stopped flowing. “See?” he pointed to the rocks, “we don’t know what we’re doing. We’re just messing around.”

We were all gathered in a room for an Overwatch announcement a week prior to the expected date. The person to the left of me stood up and shouted, “where are you Sombra?” I told him to sit down as she wasn’t going to be anywhere in the crowd unless it was actually the official event date.
We watched a 0 cooldown game on the projector and the person was playing Genji but the dash also acted like Metaknight’s forward special from Smash. The map was Illios:Lighthouse and the player was just being obnoxiously hard to hit. At one point, he swooped to a table that a couple was sitting at and picked up the bottle of red wine before dashing off again which caused the two people to get upset and quit the server.

We were in a shady pirated DVD store in a ShinKong Mitsukoshi that also acted as the cover for a crime syndicate’s headquarters. I had beaten the game once and was now guiding another person through the character selection. Last time I was a robot with a large cudgel of scrap metal. We were thinking of choosing a character with a zap pen. I reminded him that we were free to test and pick another one if we wanted. We quickly established that it was a character that benefited from stealth due to the charge-up mechanic of the pen. The longer you held down the button, the larger the shock was when you released it onto someone’s skin. The sensation would tingle throughout your arm when it was charging.
We went down the elevator and when it opened we were greeted by a bunch of dead-eyed children. “Are you the savior?” they asked in Latin. “Well yes, technically…” I mumbled under my breath as I was the one who had defeated the boss in my previous run. Unknowingly, my friend had already gone and slashed through some of the children thinking they were hostile mobs before I told him to come back into the elevator.
