I was looking over at a relative’s laptop screen and they were scrolling through photos of our family on Facebook. My dad pointed to one and said that it was shot it a way that made me look like a model. I looked to my own screen and tried to find the same photo without success.

Everyone was eating dinner but the seats were all taken so I decided to wait on the side. There was a fabric toy box between the kotatsu and the wall so I peered over to see what was inside. I realized that there were cloth and velcro labels for its contents both inside and outside the box.

Someone stood up for what I assumed was the restroom. I was offered their now empty seat. I was reluctant at first but ultimately took the seat because I hadn’t eaten yet. As I was scooping tofu onto the plate, I saw that my spot at the table was labeled “302″.

The person had now come back and walked right behind me. I froze in terror as they gave a large disappointed sign before bending down and picking up their half-eaten piece of grilled salmon from the plate.
