After eating at a restaurant a few blocks from home, I told my parents that I had to go for my Social Security application. They asked if I needed any company/assistance and I declined, confident that I knew how to get to the office alone. I remembered however that I still needed to go home first to get all of my documents so I walked on ahead and eventually lost everybody.

As I approached the parking lot of the office in broad daylight I recalled that I was applying because I had found a new job as a driver. “But I don’t even like to drive” I thought to myself. I barely even knew how to drive. I looked at the application form in my hands and realized that I was holding the wrong version. All of the prompts were jokes and asked for unrelated information. I thought to myself that I should quickly print out a correct copy but when I went online in search of them, I wasn’t able to find a legitimate version.

I scrolled through a friend’s Twitter feed that was filled with Overwatch references even though I never knew them to play video games. There was one tweeted image in particular that read “[I will] Keep on ignoring those who ignore me”.
