I was playing Overwatch with a friend when my network suddenly disconnected so I decided to take a bike ride along the beach. When I got back home, I left my bike outside of the front door and went upstairs. A friend wanted to thank me for finding and returning her iPhone a few days back. She was however curious about the data from her phone’s tracking device which suggested that an unregistered user had carried the phone to an outlet. I told her that it was because I had plugged it in without unlocking the phone.* I went up yet another floor to see a friend’s pet dog but she was nowhere to be seen.
I thought about how it was irresponsible of me to have left the bike outside especially with the strong winds that were now blowing. I rushed down to the front door, only to find multiple identical looking bikes around me. They only differed by the bags attached to them but I couldn’t remember what kind of bag I was carrying on mine or if I was even carrying a bag at all.
A group of people walked by and someone said that they had forgotten what this area was called. What seemed to be a tour guide reminded him that it was named the “bike office”. This same person picked up a bike and asked, “can I stop at any time [without falling over]?”
“Yes, it’s stable and made for [riders with] five hearts” the guide said.
