We got out of the car just when it started snowing extremely hard. The snow didn’t drift but rather pelted down towards the ground in small fistfuls. “Hey where are you all going?” my father asked as we started walking towards the trees and without much thought. It turned out that we were all just following one another and that no one knew where we were headed before turning around to follow my dad. I could see the buildings that were lit up by spotlights on the other side of the river through the snow. As the trees to the left of us opened up, the snow had started massing together to form balloon-like bubbles around the streetlamp. My brother said, “I’m never going to tell [my brother’s ex] that I painted this” and my mother agreed.

As we continued walking, I spotted a small snake following us and quickly searched on my phone to find out that it not only wasn’t poisonous but also lacked fangs of any sort. It tried to bite at my heel but was stopped by the shoes I was wearing. As we turned the corner, we saw the snake slither ahead of us in an attempt to bite a lizard. The lizard quickly caught hold of the snake’s wide tongue and as they struggled in opposing directions, it pulled out its tongue.

Someone was teaching us how to play a video game where the player was controlling a duck. “You don’t want to go to work and earn money like the other players” he explained. Instead of progressing through the story, we were led through all of the secret areas and easter eggs in the game.
