It was the weekend and we were heading to a lunch with my parents. We sat on a small roller cart on rails to move through the hotel/department store. The three of us sat facing in different directions on the square-shaped cart as it turned while it moved. When we had finally arrived at the restaurant, I noticed that I was the only one left on the cart. “Where did they go?” my mother asked. I thought for a moment before deciding that I would go back and search for them myself.
I later found one of them right outside the building standing next to the river as the sun was setting. He said that he fell off the cart into the trash dump somewhere along the way and ended up here. I inquired as to where our third member was but he did not know.

On the very top of the hotel, there was an extending metal arm that would swing several meters off the ledge and many hundred more over the swimming pool below. Attached to this orange arm was a chair with a desk, or a desk with a chair. I was sitting in this chair as I tried to sway myself to the left in order to reach a book that I wanted to read. I suddenly however became very aware of the empty space beneath my dangling feet and the fact that I wasn’t in any way secured to the chair. I instantly stopped my endeavors to swing the arm and slowly made my way back onto the roof.
I had to take a separate elevator if I wanted to reach the table with the book from below. However I wasn’t able to find the right button and I wondered if I had simply gone into the wrong elevator.
When I was back to ground floor, I passed by the swimming pool with an acquaintance standing on the far edge with their arms spread. They invited me to their room while asking when was the last time I had gotten intimate with someone. The lights dimmed as I laid on the bed.
