We walked into the classroom on the top floor while talking about games from our childhood. There was a storm brewing outside the window. I mentioned how I reminisced the days of custom games in Starcraft and the flexibility of its map editor.
Someone was giving a lecture about the kinds of people that are investigated in the social sciences. “If you’ve every been called ‘funny’ you’re probably the kind of person that get studied” they said. “Well that’s a good thing right?” asked someone in the classroom. “At least they now get to be in the spotlight” he continued, using disabled people as an example. For some reason his comments made me feel very uneasy in the silence that followed. A reporter who was writing an article about the state of college education walked out of the room. The lecturer said that they wished she would go as far south as possible and publish it.

I walked past the cars on the cobblestone street in the middle of summer while trying to recollect a previous dream. Everyone was streaming into the chapel on campus and I overheard that either newly admitted freshmen or seniors wanting to relive their first year were the only ones attending whatever event was going on inside.
