Our destination was a large mattress that laid in the middle of an open field. Toxic fumes were being released as time was running out. I jumped from the edge of the building, gliding towards our target.

Everyone was fighting around a gold statue in the middle of the marbled display room. A cinematic spotlight shone down on the statue and the commotion around it. The scene played out three times from three different angles.
The base was empty at first but was quickly filling up. People were jumping over from the neighboring structure. Someone asked a child if they wanted to play chopsticks with a modified set of rules. “I already did that” was the response.
As I walked away from the building with post-blossom cherry trees on the right and an empty parking lot on the left, I passed by two people that I had known in elementary school. I avoided eye contact and kept walking.
