I was handed a blue doll that was still in its box. It came with a red scarf - apparently this was the girl from the restaurant.

I was cherry blossom season in Japan and our class was given three options as to what we could pursue for our month-long project. I had opted in for keeping a daily log and taking photos throughout the upcoming weeks.

I didn’t want to hand in my test yet as I was still looking at the extra credit questions. It wasn’t until time was nearly up that I realized I had skipped over a normal question as well.
