When I walked to the indoor swimming pool the lifeguard on duty told us to repeat the words “sinking things” after him because he had previously been saying it wrong the whole time. We talked about the inaccuracies of map projections and how Canada was a lot larger than typically depicted.

We were already done with final exams but campus was open for another week. I was asked what it felt like to oversleep for a class and I responded that it was like “dragging a boulder (burden?) while being blindfolded”. I wasn’t sure if I was still supposed to go to PE class.
