I walked through the bookstore until I got to the the exit on the other side. What lay beyond was a large expanse of baked white dirt. A black worm was wriggling about in an area where the ground was still somewhat wet. Apparently that worm was simply someone who was wearing a skin-tight bodysuit that allowed them to modify their shape and size at their will.

I turned back into the store and saw two pieces of chocolate on one of the shelves. They came in silver and gold foil, with one being square and the other rectangular.

We were watching a cartoon while we stayed in the waiting room. In the current episode, the pair of heroines had to help two gods (out of a pantheon of four) fall out of love with each other in order to avoid some kind of worldly disorder. They ended up succeeding.
