I walked into the cafeteria for a late night snack and the area was pretty populated for how late it was. The lighting was aggressively fluorescent as I made my order at the grill. For some reason, they also gave me some change for something I had supposedly bought a week ago. I told them that I remembered there being bills as well but it didn’t matter.

When my order was out, the worker called for my name before quickly commenting that I was no longer there. I was right in front of him.

On my way out, I saw someone leaning back in their chair while calling their posture “abstract”. I started laughing hysterically while dismissing myself. It was still dark out when I exited the physical plant and turned right to cross the bridge. My steps were wobbly as it turned daytime and I realized the bridge pivoted around its center.

We crossed onto a sandy area between two canals after overshooting the rotation of the bridge several times.
