I sending off a friend at an airport in Korea and for some reason I was frustrated by the cheeriness of the staff servicing there. When I later returned to the hotel we were staying at, I was confused by the elevator situation. Instead of rising through the floors via a stall, the entire floor around the staircase went upwards. I was only able to know that I had arrived at the ninth floor by the Christmas decorations by the doors.

Upon entering the room, I saw that there were three people still sleeping. Two on the beds and one on the floor at the foot of the one closer to the door. I went to sit by the television on the far side to inspect the boxes in the counter. It was filled with a bunch of unnecessary papers that I had brought to the trip including printed copies of all of the Tumblr posts that I have queued.

I was laying on the couch watching an old action movie on an iPad. It was rather violent but also scattered with horrible CGI. There was a scene of the protagonist walking into a roofed alleyway before finding himself in a burning car.

I looked up from the screen to see a kitten on top of the shoe cabinet. It didn’t take long until I noticed that there were three more around in the living room. Someone told me that they were clones of the previous generation of my brother’s cats for they were in critical condition. “We’re going to raise them all?” I asked.

I walked to the bar table and inspected what appeared to be a container for some kind of instant food. My mom asked if it was for people or the cats. I myself thought it was some kind of specialized food for the cats but it turned out to simply be vegan curry.
