I had about 30 minutes left before I had to leave for class but I was suddenly given a task to do in the morning. I was to buy and raise 4 ducklings and was told that I would be compensated for my work. I was given some extra cash in order to make the initial investment.

I ran down to the “specimen market” to pick out the birds. Embryos without their shells were arranged neatly in the open freezer. I picked out a few of them and noticing my behavior, the employee asked why I kept looking at my watch. I told him that I was going to be late for class if I didn’t keep an eye on the time. I also asked him how to raise the birds but I never got a straight response.
