We were traveling to 9 separate “extraction points” around the map in order to deposit seeds to save/get out of the world. One of these points was on someone’s patio and when I sat down I started opening the cardboard boxes that were laying there. One of the boxes contained an “instant bike” that one had to assemble before using. It came with red and blue frames. I then opened a flatter box and all that was inside was some tiles that had a rock pattern on it. We had to leave so I left everything where I found them and walked through a portal.
The next point was on the top of a cliff overlooking the city. We were also next to a parking lot and supermarket on a road that went further up the mountain. This time we were waiting for two people to deliver the seeds. As one of us was on the phone with the two, I walked through the parking lot to see if they were anywhere close. I saw a pair wandering while one of them was on the phone but I didn’t approach them as I was afraid that they were the wrong people. It turned out that they were the ones we were looking for.
I had found a notebook full of my old drawings and was extremely impressed and perhaps even a bit regretful that I never continued. On one page was a sketch of the interior of a parking lot complex. The next page was an aerial view of an opened dome stadium.

I was standing around a table during lunch in the cafeteria of my high school. Someone said to me, “don’t dress as me. You can do better.” A friend from elementary school was commenting of how everything just seems to suck now. I added in that I regularly felt like I didn’t know where I lived. I found it a bit hard to believe that I live in Portland now and constantly got it confused with my home in Taipei.

I had overslept and when I woke up I realized that the scenery outside of my window was moving. A city in the middle of the mountains was passing by while the sky was a post-sunset blue. I immediately grabbed my phone and took a photo. It was only now that I realized I had been put on a train while I was sleeping so I looked at the map on my phone. The map drew out a route from Portland to Houston and I was around the city Corvallis. The continent however looked nothing like North America and I was in the middle of it.
I restarted the map app which re-identified my location as somewhere in California. Confused, I looked through my photos and the blue city photo that I had just took was nowhere to be found. When I plugged my phone into my laptop, nothing happened save for a faint sparking sound.
When I sat up, I realized that I could look into the neighboring room from a window behind my bed. It was empty and had a rather pink color scheme.

I was late to a buffet dinner and most of the dishes were close to being finished. I walked around and picked up a few pieces of steak, macaroni and cheese, and some pho. When I was about to sit down at a table, someone mentioned that there were two kinds of steak and that one was really bad. I had already eaten the steak and furthermore, I had eaten both kinds in the same bite so I was unable to determine which one was the bad one. He reported that it apparently tasted like flour. As it was running out, he said he knew when “not to waste time”.
