I was standing around a burning log and pulled the stump out of its roots. Apparently something was supposed to happen if it was still burning when I pulled it out but the small flames on it weren’t enough to register. I called for help and someone asked “Why don’t you have a candle with you?” as they took out their own blue candle and lit up the roots.

I was now wielding a large axe and headed towards a building with a fountain in front of it. When I got inside, I saw a large marble statue of a lighthouse and felt the urge to cut it down. A teacher and his wife were sitting in folding chairs facing the lighthouse as I took my axe and started making small dents all around the pillar. Eventually the statue fell over and I took a black piece of cloth with a hidden blade to cut the rock into even smaller chunks. At one point, it felt like I was cutting through foam. “You’ll destroy anything?” the teacher asked. I responded with a “Yes”, as I continued hacking away at the marble. “What about memories?” he asked. I told him that I was convinced my memories were always false anyways.

The wife now asked someone to take one of the books she was reading to her child out of the office. I feigned to start moving towards the room but turned back when I saw the expression on their faces. “I’ll never do it to books”, I said.
