There was going to be a “PE exam” at 12 “mach 8″*. We had been driving on a highway that went through the mountains until we reached a rest area that overlooked the ocean. There was still time so I went in the convenience store which turned out to be rather crowded. I remember taking two bags of candy and putting them in my backpack - not with the intention to shoplift but merely so my hands were free to do other things. I walked to the back of the store and found nothing of interest until someone asked me to help them open a bottle of red wine. I agreed but when I looked at the opener, it was more like a short pin rather than a corkscrew. After poking the cork a few times, I found and resorted to a two-pronged opener that was laying on the side. After opening the bottle and handing it back, I wandered around the cashier until I looked at my watch and saw that it was 12:17. I froze for a moment before panicking and heading out.

When I got to where the exam was supposedly taking place, I overheard that there wasn’t actually an exam. It turned out that they decided to “shave redheads instead”. I let out a sigh of relief as I reminded myself that I had a physics exam at 6**.

I woke up and found myself sitting on a large piece of red paper placed on top of my bed. Apparently I had fallen asleep in the middle of a big project that was nowhere near done. I was supposed to translate a story about a turtle and provide some sort of graphical representation of it on a poster.

I was sitting with my family at the dinner table as we were celebrating my birthday 6 days late.*** An aunt asked me why I hadn’t prepared any gifts for them. After all, I had just come back from a long year in America. I told her that it was because “I haven’t really gone out”, and more importantly “I don’t really have any friends”.

*No idea what this was supposed to mean**I actually got something right in a dream(???)***Making it January 26 (for the curious)
