It was nighttime and I was walking through the higher levels of what seemed to be a large department store. The floor was extremely crowded and people were constantly entering and exiting through the elevators and escalators. I was just wandering through the mass of people as I usually do and looked down at the street from the window. There seemed to be a party going on one of the roofs of a neighboring building. I looked at the distant figures as Daft Punk was playing in the background. When I turned around, I saw a familiar face heading towards the elevator. I ignored them and turned back to head down by the escalator until I changed my mind and decided to join them. While making my way to the elevator, we met and it turned out that she was actually heading to the escalators as well.
I woke up and was unable to open my eyes. I wanted to record the rest of my dream and my phone wouldn’t respond.

I was walking by a pool of dolphins that seemed rather eager to play with me. I only gave them a few pets on the head until I fixed my eyes on what seemed to be a lone penguin standing outside under an artificial stone arch. It didn’t seem to really react to my presence when I walked up next to it.

A group of people had a competition as to who could devise the best joke/prank. They had already performed their respective jokes and a group of old ladies were sitting on the tatami mats in a circle. One of the competitors told them to go to sleep as it was already 9. I looked at the small round clock next to the CRT television set and noticed it was barely even six yet. The five of them or so complied and went away as the host boasted about how he was the winner until a few hours later they came back asking for a towel.
“What for? Is it urgent?” asked the host. One of the ladies muttered under her breath, “What are we going to do with the body?” “We need it right now” they answered. Concerned by the comment on the side, the host followed them back to the room to discover what looked like a corpse covered with a white sheet. Everyone seemed to be mortified.
When the sheet was lifted, it was revealed that it was all a trick. The old lady was really my brother in disguise in an attempt to pull a prank on the supposed master. We were suddenly set on the steps of a tower and the host called out for his henchmen to get us. “Don’t you dare touch the door!” he shouted as we ran. We dropped through two manholes leading to a level full of sand and finally back to the airport.
I still had to get my suitcase which was standing in the middle of the room with the luggage carousels. The door that we were told not to touch was just the final door one had to go through to exit the airport. My brother went for the car as I looped around to get my suitcase while avoiding capture. When we rejoined at where we thought we parked the car, we panicked for a bit until we found our previously white mini cooper now yellow and on the other side of the parking spaces.
I threw in my suitcase into the trunk and hopped into the passenger seat. “Was that worth it?” I asked as we sped away.
