I sat up from the mattress and was told that the room was lit with polarizing light. People said if I tilted my head up, everything would appear dark. I was however unable to move my neck at all.

My sister-in-law went ahead of me to deposit some money and confirm that her information was correct. I walked through the gate after her to check my documents as well. The bank teller said that for some reason they were invalid but he said it was probably because they didn’t have a surefire way of checking with 100% accuracy. I walked up the the elevator doors but when I pressed the button, the doors opened up to a carpeted stairwell. As I started trekking upwards, I realized I forgot the floor that we were staying at.

We were huddled in a circle but I was looking at the sky instead. The sun hadn’t risen yet and I was watching the light patterns in the sky. It seemed to be an aurora but it was made out of triangles. When the sun rose, I realized that we were surrounded by snow. I walked up to the side of the road and heard someone say how it seemed like the trees would choose to sprout where the ants were for they had a symbiotic relationship. I replied that they probably had the order reversed and that the ants came after the trees did. When we walked past a building, I also noted how there were trees growing parallel to the ground from the exterior brick walls.
