I was riding a taxi with my family and while turning we managed to hit a parked car. After going further we made a U-turn and my dad told the taxi to stop. The rest of us weren’t sure if we were stopping because we hit the car or because we had arrived at our destination. It was pouring when we got out of the car. Everyone was holding their umbrellas while I was still fumbling with trying to get mine from my backpack. After finding the sleeve for it, I realized that my umbrella was open and on the ground. I picked it up and started walking along everyone else.
The sky was turning lighter at an alarming rate. It was still nighttime when we were in the car but now it seemed more like early noon. There was a nail clipper in my hand so I opened my bag again to put it somewhere. When I unzipped my bag, I noticed I already had 4 other identical nail clippers in different pockets.
As we were walking, my mom told me to look through a window that was on the second floor. “Can you help me check if they have a TV in their living room?” she asked. I was a bit confused as our heights didn’t differ that much. I stooped down to see from her point of view and was still able to look through the window. There was indeed a television set in this stranger’s home- in fact there were two facing each other.
