We had been assigned to read about various scientists and their contributions to technology for class but it seemed like no one had done so. We were now all sitting in the library. One article was chosen specifically because her contributions had remained fairly obscure. When someone asked why they had never heard of the female soviet scientist that heavily changed the course of biorobotic augmentations, the professor simply replied that it was because such stories “do not sell” in America.
