A physics exam was to begin in half an hour. The hallway was very bright and someone was sitting across from an open door.

One of my assignments was to transcribe the lyrics of a song and then analyze it. The prompt asked for “non-western” approaches to analysis. The first line in the chorus was “Shoot me! Shoot me! Shoot me!” Someone came by and asked if I simply Googled the lyrics and copied them. I replied that I didn’t but I did repeat the sound file a few times over.
