I was sitting on a high stool in a cobblestone alleyway, looking through a window of a cafe. The window was situated higher than myself so I was really only able to see the top half of the wall and its ceiling. There was a abstract painting with a large yellow oval on a white canvas and a green stem that laid across the top of the oval.

Evening was approaching as I looked to my phone. I read a post on someone’s tumblr that they did “16 tax 5” earlier today. Having no idea what that meant, I searched it to no avail. The Wikipedia page led me to believe it was some kind of game but I wasn’t sure.

My brother and his wife was going to be visiting soon. My sister-in-law sent me cryptic messages referencing Foucault.

Names of various anime characters were printed white on black glossy paper as a poster. There was a mistake in one of the names. Apparently it was being used for some display for a voice recognition study.
