Our Mandarin class was going out for some kind of school trip. It was evening and many of us were hungry. We were staying on top of a convenience store so I went out of the room to get something to eat. I asked around and ended up picking some bread and precooked beef, carrots and broccoli.

In the middle of the lake was a large tree with webs all over it. I sat down at an opening of bushes with a direct view of the tree. I soon realized that crawling in the webs were large brown rodents. After a few minutes, I heard a lady shouting and she started to climb on top of the tree, picking up and throwing the rats into the water. I thought about how useless this was as it would be expected that they could swim if their nest was on a tree in the middle of the lake.
