What looked like white plaster was oozing out of a plastic bottle that had a hole cut out of the bottom. This was the signal.
I was sitting in the middle of the hallway on a white chair and the door to the bathroom was to my left. The sounds of someone showering came through the closed door. There was also an additional shower head attached to the wall on my right. The floor was tiled and a teal towel hung off of the rack below the shower. I turned on the water but none of it came out of the head and instead leaked from where it connected to the wall. The puddle on the already wet floor grew larger until I turned the water off.
Across from me was a rolled up carpet and I attempted to use that to dry the area in front of me by dabbing it into the water. After the failed attempt, I took the towel on the right and rolled it around in the puddle.
I woke up.
I came out of my room to get some water and after I filled up my water bottle from the sink, I felt an intense sensation of deja vu. There was a turquoise sofa in what seemed to be a living room to the left and someone was sitting there, presumably watching TV. I sensed that the last time this happened, I went back into my room and another time I went to the person sitting on the sofa to report about my experience. I decided this time I would do neither and continued to walk forward to a door that led to another person’s bedroom.
He stopped me at the door, asking why I wanted to go in there and I told him that I was trying to break away from what I had done the last time I was in the same situation. With much reluctance, he let me in and I slept on his red bed to the left of the door.
I woke up in the same red room. A girl was sitting at the desk but that wasn’t important. My first priority was to record my dream so I reached for my smartphone. I had no difficulty unlocking it but when I tried to type, it hit something that led me to a confirmation screen asking if I wanted to send a folder to my father. I reached for my other phone and it was stuck on a screen displaying many tabs open on its browser. A majority of the tabs had a teal and pink building against a blue sky as its background.
I reached behind me to try to turn on the bedside light but it wouldn’t work. I stuck my hand into the pile of miscellaneous objects on the table in search of a pencil and notebook to no avail.
