We had finally arrived at our destination by boat. Everyone started to stand up from their red seats and went to the front.

I was going down the stairs of a very bright building. After two flights of stairs among a large crowd, a classmate stopped me and asked if I had any shoes to spare.

“What about sandals? Slippers? Anything?” He seemed really intent on getting some kind of footwear from me.

“I’m sorry, I really don’t have anything.” I continued my way down.

At some point I started running down the stairs. And with each step, I would swing my legs to the side before stepping to the next. “How are you running like that?” someone shouted as I passed by them.

I had gotten to ground level into a courtyard and many small round tables were set up. Some of them had people dining. “Stop!”

I didn’t. She then yelled at me again from behind as I ran by, “would you have stopped if I were someone else?”

((I had this dream on the plane to Seattle so the date is ambiguous))
