I was in a bus for some kind of cram school and five or so other students were in the minivan. I think we were playing a game that had a kind of survival element to it. However, it was extremely tedious and punishing. Despite its unusually cruel nature, many people replayed the game in order to grind for all of the achievements.

There was a policeman on the beach in riot gear. He seemed to appear everywhere we went and would not die, may it be from an explosion or burning. We left him in the remains of a blown up car and got into the van to get away. Suddenly a swarm of pigeons that were chained together by the feet started flying at us. One boy tried to detach one of the pigeons until I shouted at him to stop. I reasoned that if it was set free, then the birds would actually get to us. He got into the car and we drove away.

We were driving through a residential area and passing by an intersection. We all spotted a young girl walking in our general direction but didn’t stop to pick her up. “Hey that was Sophie” someone said. “I doubt that’s the Sophie we know” replied another.
