I was in a cafeteria by the beach on a foggy afternoon. I spotted two orange pencils on the table and inspected them before setting them back down. I was having mangoes and a bag of raw carrots for lunch. I stood behind a friend in his seat while we were talking about YouTube videos. We then mentioned about how it’s strange that people that were born in 2003 are now watching those same videos.

My friend had to leave while I stayed in the cafeteria since I had lunch for two periods. I looked out of the window as I absentmindedly ate my carrots. I felt a bit sick as I took out my phone to check snapchat and nothing was opening. I turned around to look at the now empty lunchroom.

I was close to throwing up but forced myself to finish the carrot that I had in my hand.
