I’m not sure why you bothered to talk to me but you asked if I wanted to go home together after school. It had been a while since that happened so I thought why not and agreed. I guess I was excited because I did a little spin and afterwards you told me I “should do that dance again.” “Later” I replied. I wasn’t even really sure how that was considered a dance.
We were walking in a group towards the parking lot but my stuff was still upstairs so I told you that I would meet you at the car later.
“The parking lot is just right ahead, yes?”
“Yeah, just turn right before the road.”
It was information that I already knew but it felt awkward just dashing off without saying anything more. I ran past two boys who were being questioned about the racket they were making yesterday afternoon. I ran up the stairs, two, three, four steps at a time.
I was running across the top platform until I got to my laptop. However I had forgotten that I agreed to help a Stephanie with filling out some forms. She was already waiting at the computer that was on the floor when I booted it up for the first time. It had a Windows XP theme with what I assumed to be an 800x600 resolution from the size of everything.
I opened up Microsoft Word and started to create a template. Most of the information seemed to relate to personal interests. I chose many of the choices for her which pertained to literature and journalism.
