I asked him what he was doing with the garden hose before he turned around and started watering the grass next to the pavement.

I was watching an anime with a group of friends and was questioning one of them why in the world they would prefer the dub for a series filled with Japanese pop culture references. He wouldn’t give me a straight answer.

Out plane had just landed and we were walking to my grandfather’s place in the snow. Even though it was late at night, it was still light out because we were in the arctic. I stopped before crossing the bridge because I wanted to take a photo of it covered in fresh snow.

We were playing hide and seek in the middle of the city and I remembered finding a good hiding spot earlier in one of the warehouses in the traditional market. I quickly ran to the edge of the marketplace but realized that the place I wanted to hide now had a few vendors walking around and carrying things back and forth. I didn’t really feel comfortable entering the enclosed space with other people around so instead I walked around to the far end of the building and settled for simply being far away from where our game started. I was eventually found without much effort.

It was one of those rare days where I woke up early so I went out for a morning walk. When I got back to the building however, I realized that I had forgotten my wallet and keys in my room. I had no way of getting through the door. Someone suggested that I scale the building and climb in through my window. After considering my (lack of other) options, I decided to go through with climbing to the third floor.

I was watching someone play through the water temple in Ocarina of Time and they managed to get into an unintended room. Along the wall on the second floor, you were able to play a song by running your fingers over the copper contacts.

I was playing the part of a messenger in a Chinese play. I had difficulty hearing whenever the director spoke so I kept asking him to repeat himself. After a certain point however, I stopped asking, for I was afraid that it would get interpreted as me not knowing Chinese.

I was late for class as I walked in on watching the new FLCL. We were watching the first two episodes in class and had to write a paper on it. The first episode was great as I had anticipated but the second on ended on a strange note.

Everyone was reveling in the fact that tomorrow was the first day of Renn Fayre but I only felt fear, for it meant that today was the last day to work on my thesis. I tried to avoid having a panic attack on the spot.

Someone had asked me out on a date and we were trying to find each other in the city. I happened to bump into a friend’s mom at the bus stop so I asked her for directions to the mall that we had agreed to meet up at. It turned out she was also headed in the same direction.
