I was supposed to be taking pictures of the dinner party but didn’t feel comfortable walking around with a camera. I fiddled with the knobs and buttons in my seat while waiting for some kind of guidance from the two ‘producers’ who were apparently supposed to mentor me.

I followed a colleague to their dorm room which was more like an alcove at the far end of a common room separated by a heavy curtain. The space nonetheless seemed rather comfy if not a little cramped. It was already pretty late but I still wanted to shower before turning in for the night. There was a standalone bathroom in the middle on the common room that was furnished with black marble tiles and small spotlights. I only hopped into the shower for a bit, not even taking my shoes off as I rinsed my body.

My coworkers went to the park ahead of me because I had to use the restroom. When I finally found them near the basketball courts, I saw them drawing on the concrete with chalk.

I had landed in Canada at a rather small airport. My parents and I were waiting around the boarding gate as we weren’t sure if immigration was working at this hour. We considered waiting until next morning even though the sun hadn’t even set yet.

A friend was asking for my opinion on their proposed itinerary for a trip to Europe. They planned to spend the entirety of June and July across the continent and was wondering which trains they should take.

I headed to the restroom after watching the opening ceremony for something. The bathroom was very spacious inside and was more of a general bathing area. There were no stalls to be seen but instead there were low tiled walls. I felt a bit embarrassed to expose myself here so I walked back out.

I ran up to the top floor of the bare concrete building that was still under construction. I heard Gangnam Style blaring from the distance except all of the lyrics had been replaced by various “fuck you"s spliced together. I looked down below and saw an old friend running full speed towards the building. I jumped back and ran to the stairs to get to the roof. As I was hanging onto a concrete pillar, I felt a bee fly into my left ear.

We got together as a group to make up some original lyrics to video game soundtracks. I struggled to form any coherent lines to a track from a Mario game.

The new semester was starting soon and I was feeling anxious about not having registered for classes yet. Two children asked me if Taiwanese people didn’t like singing. I asked them why they would think that. Apparently their host family told them to stop singing while they were brushing their teeth.

I was in a dungeon out of some kind of video game. I had been turned into the size of a small fairy and needed to retrieve a magic wand. I looked around and up the stone walls with my dad until we saw it perched on a shelf way beyond reach. We’d have to find another way around to get it.
