I was sitting in a Czech language class and the learning material for the day was based on a blurb that you could find on a jar of honey. My friend had apparently found the specific brand in question and had brought it to class. The answers to the problems on the blackboard were on the label.

My parents were cooking in the kitchen, however when I walked in I saw that the fridge and been split in half horizontally. I asked them what they were doing and they said it helped with rearranging the stuff inside. They were talking about how our landlady had too much junk that needed to be cleared out.

It was already dark out by the time I got to campus on my bike. I bumped into an old friend on the stairs and asked where he was headed. He told me that he was on his way to catch a train bound for New York.

I was getting my hair cut as I had gotten called for additional military training, however the barber was only willing to give half of a buzzcut before moving on to the next person. We were later herded into the cafeteria and had to pick out our own plates from the many racks of trays. There was a form on the wall which asked which boss monster players encounter at level 1 in Path of Exile. A few of the rows had already been filled in with Merveil, so I followed along without much thought.

I was sitting at a diner with my family for breakfast. Everyone else had gotten their meals of meat and berry pies but my plate was empty because I couldn’t make up my mind on what to order. My dad asked my brother if he could show him his teeth. My brother showed off his set of dentures while his wife showed us her golden implants.

We were playing videogames on the TV. Someone leaned over and sniffed another person’s back. I started grinding my teeth with a sensation of plastic plates in my mouth.

I was coming back to the office after my lunch break when I looked at the calendar and realized that I actually had nothing scheduled for the rest of the day. It was a Monday and I wasn’t really sure what I was supposed to do.

We were watching a talent show and the last scheduled performance was a couple singing a duet. Just when we thought the show was over, my dad drunkenly stumbled onto the stage and started singing “Don’t Stop Me Now” at the top of his lungs.

I was directing people where to go inside of a busy train station.

It was 7:15 and I had a bus to catch. I was running down the street when I slowed down to overhear a conversation that piqued my interest. I wanted to stick around as I was already going to be late anyways. It was then that I realized I had also forgotten all of my stuff at home.
