It was the Monday of the second week of the semester and I was still trying to remember my class schedule. I knew was taking four classes with one of them being a music class. I just hoped that I wasn’t going to miss a class. A classmate asked me about a homework assignment which I had completely forgotten about. I only remembered that had to create a bassline for a music composition class.

My brother asked to borrow my room for the night. I did a quick sweep through before walking downstairs to the living room in the dark. I could hear someone watching TV below me.

I was using a wall-mounted pull-up bar but every time I looked away, the contraption seemed to change. At one point it was (unsafely) attached onto the wall with a couple of screws. Eventually the wall itself turned into a window with no obvious method of securing the bar.

I was sitting at a desk and couldn’t get the ethernet cable to reach my computer from the middle of the room. I traced the cable back to a cluster of splitters tied up around the legs of several tables pushed against each other. The actual ethernet port was way over on the other side of the room. However after untangling the mess of cables, it was now too short to reach from the wall to the splitters. Someone told me that the cable had simply retracted back to its normal length. I tried not to think too hard about the mechanics as I stretched the cable back out like a piece of taffy.

I vacuuming my room and there was a lot of dust and hair on the floor. I went to the kitchen to empty out the dust container and thought of cleaning the spare as well. My dad told me he had already cleaned it out after attaching it to the food processor to break up all the hair.

I was giving my mom directions as she drove us to the restaurant that we had reserved. We passed by restaurant Orvanns but failed to find a parking spot anywhere nearby. All of the spots for the neighboring stores and attractions were also full and there was no residential parking. It started pouring. I suggested that we drive back to the hotel after all and simply walk over. We ended up parking somewhere alongside the highway overlooking the sea.

I was sitting in the backseat of the car with my parents. We were driving through the city in the middle of the night and I could see fallen buildings under the river we were cruising along. They were there from the previous earthquake that had hit the area.

I was in a history class and we were about to go on a week long break. There was a long term project due when we got back from our break but I hadn’t even chosen a topic for it yet. I wanted to ask about the assignment but I was cut off for disrupting the class with too many questions. The teacher reminded me that they had already helped me with my resume. I considered the possibility of simply failing this next assignment.

I was hunched over on the floor of a storefront walkway trying to handwrite a letter in Chinese. However all the characters looked misshapen and oversized so in the end I crumpled up the piece of paper and threw it away. I crossed the street towards the mall in search of a restroom. The public restrooms were right inside of the entrance of the building. Although the doorways were marked as being gendered, both of them led to the same central hand washing area. There were urinals that recorded the duration and amount of fluid with each use.

I was playing a co-op top-down zombie survival game. Each player had a very limited light radius and field of view which necessitated the need for proper communication to get through the levels. Furthermore, each player only had a single move (beyond standard movement controls) which was bound to B. For example a character might have a melee attack, a gun, a compass, or a bike.
