We were at a friends house and I was helping them prepare dinner. My dad asked me when we had decided to eat here, hinting that we were imposing on our host for not announcing our intention to stay for dinner beforehand. “Well we live just downstairs…” I began. “Should we go home to eat then?” I asked as a half-hearted suggestion.

I had just woken up to get ready for my morning walk before work. I heard the garage door opening as my parents had just gotten back. I pulled out a frozen crepe from the freezer to put in the microwave but it shattered as I held it.

We were expecting a guest we had invited to talk about riichi mahjong on camera. My friend asked me to call another friend while she got prepared for the interview. My mom laughed when I had to admit that I didn’t have the phone number of our mutual friend. She then asked me to call her chef for catering, who I also didn’t have the number of.

We were tasked with traveling to the four corners of a large park to collect the hidden locks. Throughout the park were roaming groups of robed cultists who would shoot at anyone who approached. However instead of being armed with guns, we would shoot at each other with bananas.

I fell asleep on the couch with my headphones on listening to some Touhou arrangements. I remembered scrunching up my body into an awkward position to occupy as little space on the couch as the others stayed up to play card games. I woke up to the warmth of the sun shining on my foot and opened my eyes to find myself in bed somehow.

I remembered that I had drawn a cat for /mjg/ but was unable to find it among my files. I drew a sad dog instead to make up for it.

The school had been infested with zombies which had the tendency to push through doors when there were enough of them in a small space. Fortunately it was possible to sneak past them as I made my way off campus. It was dark out and the only light in the distance was a public restroom. I quietly approached the building and refilled my water bottle at the dispenser across under the spotlight.

I walked out in the middle of class and took a long stroll around the docks. I helped load up a ship with some garbage bags as I passed them before finishing the loop. I found my dad lining up for a cafe that was about to close and asked him how I should note down the work I did today. It was getting dark.

I was at a construction site and we were making roof tiles by compressing socks into tight plates. Robert Downey Jr. was there to remind people to wear collars in the workplace.

I was folding my laundry on my bed while my mother talked about a pride event she had recently attended. She noted how it was weird that there were women executioners at the event. I hoped that I didn’t make too much food for a feast we were hosting later.
