The only thing I remember was the word “Bavaria” being spoken.
The only thing I remember was the word “Bavaria” being spoken.
We were at some kind of outdoor fair as the day and events were ending. My dad and I were walking on our way home until we realized that my mother was no longer following us. Instead of heading back, we decided to just wait at the exit. Moments later she walked past us, carrying a whole manner of things like camping and photography equipment.
Class was dismissed so I walked out of the building and started walking towards the tour bus that was around 10 or so minutes away. On my way, I saw a hotel with a red sign that read: 廣州-廣州 (Guangzhou-Guangzhou). It was in a rather open space, perhaps it was in an unoccupied parking lot.
We were trying to get to an airport after we checked out a hotel. Just a few moments prior, I was taking a bath. I think we had to get out because sauna was burning down. Now we were in some underground tunnels which had a variety of stores and restaurants.
Things were different since you left. I started taking a new route home. It was Friday and for the first time, I saw how others spent their afternoons. I never realized that their days were so… lively. The sun was shining brightly and everyone seemed to be having fun. Perhaps I was hit with a pang of regret and jealousy. Is this what I have robbed myself from for all these years? Kids streamed past me as I walked along the waterfront. The ocean was glistening a brilliant blue to my right while groups of friends were hanging out under the shade of the umbrellas over their tables.
Someone chopped open a plastic Iron Man suit to wear as armor against some zombies that were swarming into the house. Two other guys ran out of the window while an old lady yelled at them for not paying rent.
It was night time at a bus station. There were tones of teal and orange from the lights reflecting off of the painted roof. A few steps ahead to the right was a white board with a piece of paper stuck onto it with a magnet. It seemed to be advertising real estate of some sort, with large bold red text. The majority of it was in Mandarin and had “100%” on it somewhere.
There was some kind of competition going on in a large department store. My mother and I were on the top floor watching a dance performance unrelated to the competition. Afterwards, she wanted to keep the tickets in a plastic folder the same way I always would after traveling - for archiving purposes.
I emerged from a stairwell into a park that was on ground level. It wasn’t so much of a park as it was a garden. There was some greenery as well as glass. There was a lot of glass. It seemed like the objective of the garden was to let its visitors smash the glass panes.
We were in English class and our project was to reenact some action scene from a movie. It was in a medieval setting and I was the intruder, with my weapon of choice being a (rather modern) hammer. After the five or so defenders were defeated, I was greeted with a “welcome to the fort”.
