We had to create a timeline for an in-class assignment and one of the events that I put down was the final legalization and commercialization of neural implants in the year 2432. After a long prohibition and wars fought for its repeal, people were allowed to get implants to enhance their cognitive capacities.

We sat down at a cafe that a friend had brought us to for desserts. Someone doubted his claim that the place was any good however, using the size of the seating area as a measure.

“I’ll meet you at the bottom in seven minutes!”

A friend had invited me to lunch and as we were eating I asked him how he had been doing. He constantly mentioned how he was going to be really busy over the next couple of weeks, which was why he wanted to meet in the first place.

After selecting the “Hactive” and “Metal” gene modifications, he described how his head crumbles open at night and he became somewhat magnetic. We sat by the bed when I held up a fork to conclude that it was indeed attracted to his body. He insisted on continuing the supplements while commenting on his self-restraint.

We were in a house in the middle of the city with big windows and my classmates had come over for lunch. My mother was showing everyone how to walk on the ceiling fan after laying down metal platforms.

We were playing a board game the size of a small house and I wondered if all the pieces were still intact. Part of the game involved moving balls around with nets through holes and tunnels.

The large tables in the cafeteria split up the long line at the smoothie station. The person in front of me offered to share a drink with anyone in line. She was quickly shot down however as the person at the station started to list which produce they had too much in stock of. I looked to the right to see that there was a special offer in sweatpants.

We stood under the outdoor shower-head when I saw someone hanging a noose in red rope behind her head. When I tried to snatch it away, I inadvertently triggered the fire alarm and had to clear the premises.

It was noon when I got off of the boat and walked onto the empty beach. As the rest of the group started to wade into the water, I quickly went back in to change into more appropriate clothing. I saw the tide start to rise as the water was beginning to wash over the shoes that had been laying by the door. Inside of the restrooms were televisions with preset programs playing as they were not connected to anything. I recognized a few from my way over when we were sitting in the diner. Someone came in to inform me that we were out of food. we found some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as well as some strawberry jam crackers in one of the baskets.
