I sat in an a class premised on preparing for the SAT through playing Path of Exile. The desks felt a little too short. I looked around at all of the other students when I realized that I was way too old to be here. Apparently the class was for people who had somehow gotten admitted without ever having taken the test. Barely any PoE was played before the class was dismissed. I walked up to the professor to tell them that there was a mistake and that I wasn’t supposed to be here; I was already a senior. I told them that I planned to switch the course for another when they asked if I was sure that wouldn’t be too much. I supposed that I could just take one fewer course for my final year. My linguistics professor popped in to say hi. I didn’t know how to respond beyond saying hello back.

I was in class and we were counting off to determine which project each of us had to do from a prepared list of prompts. Mine was number 14 which was to create some sort of strategy game based on ancient Egypt. I felt that it sounded easy enough.

I was in the dorm kitchen when I received messages from friends about how a family friend was back in town. I opened the fridge to see that it was filled with cartons of milk. I grabbed some left over spaghetti and pizza for a quick dinner. I saw that she was preparing something on the floor instead of using the counter. Someone accused her of trying to food poison the whole dorm.

We were supposed to meet at the restaurant downtown but I had once again arrived way too early and decided to wander about the nearby streets. I bumped into the friends I was going to meet later but they had caught me walking in the opposite direction. “Where are you going?” they asked.

“Uh… nowhere?”

“Are you also coming for dinner?”

“Yeah eventually.” I said as I swiveled around to follow them to the restaurant. We were expecting a pretty large group so we decided to start ordering as we waited outside. Someone asked if it was okay to order the fish.

I couldn’t believe that I had won the lottery for 140 million dollars. I thought about how much I would have left over after giving each of my friends 1 million.

I was on campus but I somehow couldn’t find any of the classrooms. I sat down at a folding table in the hallway and sent my dad some photos from the day before. It was freshman orientation and I had taken a picture of the cherry blossoms atop a hill blowing in the wind. My dad sent a text saying that he wanted to learn directing and I encouraged him to keep working at his projects. I thought about what it would be like to crawl in the wet rice fields.

I was trying to play a platformer on a dumbphone but was having trouble with the controls on the small keypad.

I was playing Barotrauma and thought the round had already ended while walking around the station. There was a graduation ceremony being held in the auditorium when there was a sudden crash. We had to detach the sub and dock with a new ship to reset the level. I found a speaker playing Crawler noises attached to a rat that was scurrying around on board. I figured that it was some kind of prank related to the crash earlier.

We were about to move to a new place and my room was already cleared of furniture by the time I had woken up. My brother was returning to Taiwan, much to the excitement of my family as we walked through the airport together.

I was reading a blogpost from an image host encouraging its users to start transferring money using their new app. Some of the descriptions seemed to insinuate that using their financial instruments would help their users get into heaven.
