I was in class and we were creating our characters for some kind of roleplaying game. We could “buy” various colored poker chips (blue, green, yellow, white, pink) which contributed to our starting stats if they matched our dice rolls.

My mother was trying to wake me up to fix the toilet but I couldn’t seem to get out of bed. I wanted to tell her that it was probably the chain getting tangled in the tank again but I wasn’t sure if my words were getting through the drowsiness.

I was at some kind of fair and there was an year-end competition on stage for combat skills. Everyone had their own specialty that they’d trained all year for and mine was archery. However, I had somehow lost my bow and instead grabbed a cardboard cutout of sword and walked onto stage. I tried to blend in with the rest of the crowd.

We were touring through a diorama of traditional Taiwanese apartments. There a comparison of homes that were one unit in size versus six.

I was watching a deliveryman having to jump through peoples’ backyards just to deliver packages. Apparently some of the homes just did not have any driveways and was surrounded by other yards on all four sides.

I was told that some people that I knew from elementary school had seen videos of my breakup.

There was an exhibition nearby for an oversized pair of jeans that had supposedly been walked around the globe. There was an activity where people were asked to guess how many “turns” one had to make for a such a trip. They were also selling merch but it could no longer be sold under a pay-you-want scheme because of some kind of legal regulation regarding donations and having to pay wages to volunteers.

I was chatting to my dad about mashups after dinner. He was relaying to me a story about copyright strikes not resolving on videos if there were multiple competing claims on them. I told him how that was kind of a running joke in the community.

I was in a class about the history of money and we were filling out a worksheet where we had to tape coins and bills to the paper. We also had to find instances of currency in old newspapers. A friend had shared a news article linking the popularity of Counter Strike to wars waged. “Well that’s not all that long ago” my dad commented.

I was studying for a chemistry exam and the period was almost over which meant that we had to vacate the room for the next class. I vacuumed the floor on my way out. My next class was supposed to be Japanese but I wasn’t sure where the classroom was actually located. A friend asked me if we were doing the same activity in class this week as last week. I couldn’t give a straight answer as we weren’t in the same section.
