We were watching a replay in Deadlock of a 1v5 fight. However instead of moving around a camera, the replay was viewed through a character model that could walk around the map. This meant that if you happened to collide with an entity from the replay, there was a chance of throwing the entire simulation off sync.

My friend was on the phone with his mom. He was telling her about the course we were taking together and how it felt like he was actually learning something for the first time in a long time instead of doing the same thing every day. He asked me to fetch his Pokemon keyboard and I went downstairs in search for it.

Two teams of candle minions from Deadlock were fighting on the bed. The minions came out of tubes that were hooked up to a “digestion” machine on the far side of the room. Organic matter was stirred in cylindrical tanks like slushies before being molded and shot out through the tubes. The candle men tasted kind of waxy, as one would expect from their appearance.

The bus failed to wait for my dad and drove away with me and the brother on it. There was no way we were going to convince the driver to turn around so we got off at the next stop before coming up with a plan. “Should we tell him to bike over?” I asked my brother.

We were watching a movie in class and some people were called out of the room for not paying attention. I closed my laptop as my battery was running low. I wasn’t really sure where to go after the movie when a friend told everyone they were throwing an afterparty at their place. I didn’t want to drive home.

I was on the top floor of a mid-rise building with my parents. We were trying to get onto the roof for safety from the “zombies” after us. We had until the “isolation sphere” ran out, which was some kind impenetrable force field that secured the upper floors from any intruders. I scrambled through the mess of random junk on the floor in search of a bag and calculator before the safe period was up. Just as the field dissolved, I jumped out the window and onto the roof.

I was playing Smash 64 with my brother. It had been so long since I played on an N64 that I forgot how to properly hold the controller. I fell off of the stage a few times as Link before switching to Samus.

A friend had invited me to hang out and I thought we were going together but he left the house much earlier than I expected. It was already nearing 6 PM and it would take at least an hour if I was to take transit. I didn’t really want to drive but I felt I didn’t really have a choice.

I needed to go to class except when I stepped out of the door I was already on the second floor of my middle school. I didn’t take the time to check the weather before heading out and I was halfway down the stairs when I realized that I was severely overdressed. I stopped by some friends who were chatting by the front gate until I glanced at my watch and saw that I needed to leave immediately if I wanted to arrive on time.

It was late at night and someone invited me to head up to the observatory. I accepted the offer without much thought before they revealed that they already had a group and that I would have to drive up separately. I got out my phone to see that it was at least an hour away by car. There were a few recommended routes and I showed them my phone to ask which one they would suggest, “…for traffic reasons”, I clarified. They looked at me like I was stupid. “The trains aren’t even running at this time.” they said, suggesting that the city was basically a ghost town at this time of night. “Oh… right.” I said.
