I walked up the bleachers of the unlit gymnasium until I got to a row of jail cells. The guard on duty claimed to be unable to perceive “cause and effect”. I had gotten a little too close when he noticed me and started running at me. I quickly turned the other way, heading for the exit. Someone told me that he was “unstoppable” but apparently he had trouble catching me in the first place.

I was playing Mario Kart with /mjg/ and the track we were on had some kind of story line going on. Every so often our characters would be accompanied by a pair of masked men in fancy suits, each representing the sun and the moon.

Someone came up to me and said that he suspected our classmate was a friend of Joe Biden’s daughter. He asked me to search it up on Google Images and I did so on my phone. There was in fact a familiar face appearing alongside someone who was presumably Biden’s daughter. “They’re probably related too”, he said. “I mean all presidents kind of are, right?” I replied.

I was painting alongside my mom on our farm with a view of the ocean waves. My dad suggested meeting up with them at an island off the coast of Taiwan sometime next week. “Take care of all accounting first”, he said, by which he meant we should buy our plane tickets.

My friends drove by in a van for a computer repair shop. One of them asked me to get in, to tell me about his plan to register a new business so he could keep the van. He was planning to sell sports jerseys.

One of my dad’s cars had been towed and he sent me and my brother to investigate. We went to the parking lot to ask the person in charge and was told that my dad needed a permanent parking spot but refused to tell us how to obtain one. We followed the guide around as she walked through an overcrowded and understaffed nursery. My dad called us from a Google phone asking about the situation but we had nothing to tell him.

My brother and I started talking about mahjong. Apparently he had recently gotten into the game as well. We shared some strategies as we waited in the DMV.
