We were riding our bikes at night to get back to the hotel but I decided to make a quick detour at the park full of cherry blossoms. We confirmed which hotel we were heading to before I split off from the group.

I was about to head out to class in the morning while my mother was talking to my niece. She finally managed to talk for the first time and repeated after my mother whenever she said “可以呀” or “怎麼樣”.
There was a box on the bench under the tree outside of the community safety building. On the box was an advertisement for a job involving lifting heavy objects five days a week. Next to the box was a form asking potential applicants what times of would pose as schedule conflicts.
I was going through the immigration gates via facial scans to get out of Hong Kong when my booth was flagged. Apparently I wasn’t allowed to leave and a group of officers quickly came to carry me off. “What am I supposed to do?” I repeatedly asked, but no one answered my question.
My cousin had recently passed away and my grandpa moved in with my aunt after her daughter’s death. I had stayed up all night and was planing to go to bed when my aunt bumped into me in the kitchen. She offered to steam some chocolate buns for breakfast and I accepted.
I walked down the center aisle of the church for what felt like an eternity. Everything seemed to point out that I needed to be as minimally disruptive as possible and not make a sound - so I did as was suggested. When I finally got to the mall, I was exhausted and could no longer walk. I found myself passing out on the floor.
I met the man in the middle of the busy square but for some reason I couldn’t understand a word he was saying. I kept asking him to repeat himself up until the point where it felt like he was trying to say goodbye. I awkwardly started to say goodbye as well without really know what was going on.
I had received a large box addressed to me and inside it I found a stack of sketchbooks full of drawings. The cover of each sketchbook was titled with a year. The oldest one went all the way back to 2003. The thing is, these sketchbooks weren’t mine but were the works of a friend I hadn’t talked to in years.
I went into one of the restrooms in the shopping mall and there were bins placed in front of all the urinals.
Somehow I had disabled both of the urinals in the public restroom and the electronic interface for them had to be rebooted. However, in order to restart the operating system, I had to first pass a test that was entirely written in Chinese. I struggled to do much better than guessing the answers but I somehow got by.
