It was only on the drive back from the airport that I realized my friend wasn’t in the car anymore. I had thought we were picking someone up, but apparently we were dropping him off. “Well that makes sense now” I said.

I picked up a strange phone call and was told to run. Not knowing who exactly I was running from, I followed orders form the voice on the phone. I was led though a series of alleys and empty rooms to pick up keys. I eventually got my hands on a brown envelope and inside was a handful of forged documents. I needed to get out of the country. I made a brief stop at my house, thinking that maybe I could pack my things before daytime. Unfortunately, people in the house were already waking up. I decided to forgo packing and depart without anything more than what I had brought out in my backpack the night before.
I was in the library bookstore and the table was tiled with bestsellers from the last month. A friend pointed at one of the books and said that if the fifth book of the series was released on Friday, they would buy the entire series.
I was on the roof of a skyscraper and the stairs down were locked behind a gate. On the other side of the gate was a dog-like creature with freakishly long limbs and snout. Its dark gray fur was matted and it continuously tried to swipe at us through the metal bars.
I was practicing Thanatos on the piano when my parents walked into my room. All of a sudden, my fingers locked up and I found myself unable to play without missing notes or constantly losing where I was in the song.
Someone was asking me where I used my password. “My e-mail?” I replied, before asking them for more context. They said that while using my computer they had encountered a file named “computerraw.txt”. I told them that I kept a list of my usernames and passwords on a text file because I was too lazy to remember them. My brother looked at me in concern.
I was walking through the supermarket when I saw my friend cooking in one of the aisles. I looked into the pot of soup he was making and noticed that he didn’t chop any of the vegetables. “Where are we going to eat this?” I asked him, while also noting that most of the seats around us were taken. I overheard someone trying to debate with his parents over their personal lives.
I was going to be late for the 9PM meeting that we had planned on to discuss the details about our next caving expedition. I kept walking back and forth from the car as I debated how much I should be bringing with me. I started with a lantern and eventually settled with bringing all my bags - just to be safe.
We were on a cross-country school trip and I was packing up my clothes for the return trip. Someone asked if we were going to be swimming, but that wasn’t going to be until the third day.
My brother was giving me tips for Starcraft and even called a friend to consult for advice on how to play Terran. He started drawing out options for expansions on a whiteboard.
