I was told that the cleaners were underground so I took the elevator to the basement. I fumbled with the buttons and managed to press 1, B1, and B2. When I finally got to my floor, I walked straight ahead through the underground mall. I knew that the storefront was supposed to be under the other apartment building so I went forward with that in mind.

I was playing a zombie build in Path of Exile and was waiting for my party members to kill Dominus together. After waiting for half a minute, I realized that no one was behind me and that they were already in the boss room. I got to the fight late and when it was over, he dropped missed quest items along with forks and spoons. I picked up the cutlery and handed them over to someone sitting at a table.

I was reading a local Portland newspaper about how a nearby school no longer allowed children to play outside anymore. Apparently multiple people had been throwing rocks into the playground from the street and parents had reported that their children were coming home bleeding and bruised. It wasn’t as simple as catching the perpetrators as seemingly unrelated strangers would all engage in the activity as if it was some sort of behavioral epidemic.

I was searching up porn in the computer lab when a classmate rolled up behind me and asked to distract the teacher by walking out of the room. I got out of my seat and walked out the door and decided that I would take a walk around the school building.

It was Christmas and my uncle videocalled my phone because everyone else in the house was too busy to pick up theirs. He wished us a Merry Christmas as I struggled to prop up the phone at the right height on the coffee table.

I had fallen asleep in the car and my dad asked me to use my phone to find our way back home. I turned on the navigation system which proceeded to direct us to make a U-turn on the highway. I started scrolling through my Discord messages to find that “I” had been sending messages that I had no recollection of. My first thought was that I had somehow ended up in an alternate timeline.

Our house was in the middle of a field and we were defending it from some kind of robot invasion. I picked up a shield and ran towards one of the turrets that was shooting at us. When I got close, I managed to take it out with a combination of gunshots and shield-bashing.

Over the past 10 days, we had been working on how to extract memories from brains. We had three brains on the table and I was in the middle of trying to hook up speakers to certain lobes.

For some reason I found myself rewatching BrodyQuest. Someone commented that it was “not ironic enough” for the current day and age.

My dad commented on how everyone my age was out pursuing their own interests while I was staying at home. He made an off-hand remark about how I must’ve been “put together wrong”.
