The three of us were having a conversation about the parallels between fashion design and culinary arts. I mentioned how a master of either had to balance form and function. I lazily rolled over to my left to find that the person sitting there had gotten much closer to me than I remembered. Right after we made eye contact, she turned around and straddled me. She slowly lowered herself onto me before suddenly getting up and running out the door.

I had barely woken up and my parents asked me if I wanted to go to Taitung with them. In my half-asleep state I turned down the offer. I watched my family walk out of the door from the floor I was laying on. I was now alone in our house.

I was following the crowd in the train station with a pillow and blanket in my arms. I looked down the escalator with no desire to try to push through the sea of people below.

My brother and I were on our way to a wedding that was being held at a chapel that I kept mistakenly calling a cathedral. We were cross a bridge when we started to talk about genetics.

I was thinking about diving into the pool as we sat by the waterfall. “Are there any sharp objects in the water?” I asked. They said it depended on what kind of grasses were growing under the surface.

I was in the supermarket with all of my groceries in the basket. I was considering getting a snack as well so I wandered up and down the aisles until I got to the breakfast cereal section. I ended up choosing a box of cereal that had Oreo bits and dried strawberries. It wasn’t until I was paying at the checkout counter that I realized I had made a mistake. The total due was a little over $110.

The advertisement for the dating app highlighted that a low number of its users had been blocked. The built-in reporting system had some pretty strict consequences and users only got a couple of chances before being permanently banned from the app.

The airport was walking distance from my brother’s place. However, I was afraid that I would miss my flight anyways because I hadn’t stepped out of the door until an hour before departure. I walked up to the check-in counter and told them I was going to Portland, with a transfer at [xxx]. They commented on how London was kind of far. I quickly realized the mix up and said I was going to the Portland in Oregon.
