As I walked down the stairs and took a seat on the sofa chair, someone turned towards me and commented, “You’ve been down here for a long time.” For some reason, I wasn’t able to respond to him verbally so I sent a message over our group Discord channel: “Is that even a question?”

I had gotten a nose piercing at the hair salon because it was apparently at my father’s request. When I returned home with a large ring in my left nostril he said that I didn’t “get it” and handed me a smaller one that was from a relative. I held onto the ring while taking off my own as we continued to talk near the front door. Someone was coming over to our place soon and I realized that I wasn’t able to find my piercing anymore.

I was looking over at a relative’s laptop screen and they were scrolling through photos of our family on Facebook. My dad pointed to one and said that it was shot it a way that made me look like a model. I looked to my own screen and tried to find the same photo without success.

I was watching my brother cook in his apartment and I thought that I had better leave before his friends arrived. I walked down the hallway and into a dark room and saw the books that I had in my luggage but never unpacked. I heard the front door open so I came back out to see that my sister-in-law was home. She said that everyone else was on their way.

My brother had just recently renovated his place and the nearest restroom from the living room was in the basement, down through a door in the garage. When I got to the bottom, water was flooded up above my ankles. After using the toilet and washing my hands, I filled up a bottle of water but decided to only drink it if it seemed safe to drink when I brought it up to the first floor. I picked up a clear bag of trash before heading up. As I climbed the stairs, I noticed the steps were strewn with fish-tanks on their sides and pools of dead fish.

After eating at a restaurant a few blocks from home, I told my parents that I had to go for my Social Security application. They asked if I needed any company/assistance and I declined, confident that I knew how to get to the office alone. I remembered however that I still needed to go home first to get all of my documents so I walked on ahead and eventually lost everybody.

I couldn’t get a clear shot at the oil drum because the dogs kept jumping on me. I paced and ducked to shake them off until the three of them found something more engaging to interact with. I aimed my acid gun at the drum before pulling the trigger.

After shaking the fruit tree in the orchard, I headed into the crayon factory operated by red and blue workers. Crayons were made by dipping sticks into combinations of colored and flavored syrup which were then taste-tested by the manger sitting at the end of the conveyor belt. The first worker in a red uniform was new. She was handed a letter containing a plot to kill the manager with a lethal combination of syrups. All she needed to do was to dip it into the red (bitter) and purple (sweet) tubs before handing it to the next person. She would be compensated for carrying out this task.

My brother and I were watching a movie titled “21 Hours”. It was a movie about a person who turns into a superhero in the span of a day. The final fight scene happened at the top of an office skyscraper late at night.

I kept hearing the words “death death” ringing through my ears as I walked towards the gates of the castle. My mother came out and said that we should have umbrellas but they were nowhere to be found.
