My father had been driving us around for a while, looking for a specific restaurant that my mother wanted to eat at. When we got out of the car it was already dark and we passed by what seemed to be a scaled down version of the Taipei 101. When we entered the building next to it, we realized that the restaurant we were being led to by our phone was actually a branch store located in the airport.

I was on the sofa when my father asked my mom if she knew when something they had bought would arrive in the mail. She said she was told the package would arrive today at 9 in the morning. It was already well into the afternoon.

I walked into what appeared to be an empty concrete building and started to climb up the stairs. When I turned past one of the corners, I saw that someone had set up an indoor shooting range and two people were talking at one end. They immediately started shouting and chasing me when I was noticed. I panicked and wasn’t sure when I was going up or down but eventually I climbed a ladder that led to a trapdoor to the roof. The one holding the rifle kept screaming that they wanted me either “dead or dissected”. The other kept asking them why they had bought the kind of gun that they did.

In front of me was a few dozen glass bottles of different oils arranged on a white table. My mom told me that someone had asked if I liked fruit. I would occasionally get flashbacks of replays from season 1 of League of Legends. I picked up a bottle and drank a particularly thick concoction. It was kind of like an extra viscous olive oil.

We were driving to a concert that was being held in a large parking complex. I thought about how it must’ve not been very long since I had abandoned my laptop running when I left the country. I thought that perhaps I still had time to save it.

I was walking down an extremely large set of steps that had a black and white checkerboard pattern on them. There was a wall on which I could lean on to the right while on the left was a steep drop to the bottom. I had nearly tipped over a bottle of alcohol over that edge when I pushed some couches out of the way.

I was kneading large clumps of dough with my brother. When the dough came into contact with the oil-water mixture in the bowl, we were able to push out individual hardened kernels of macaroni pasta.

We were standing around the wooden park table while picking at the grilled chicken breasts that were on a metal tray that stretched the entire length of the surface. The meat was a little dry but it seemed to be seasoned pretty well. Someone asked me if I had attended our “Reactor/Space” class as they had a special session today. I told them that I didn’t. “Well then, you’re dead” they quickly responded. I remembered how someone once told me that I should look at other people’s teeth when talking to them.

My mom asked me if I was going to eat at [some mall] anytime soon. “If you do, you can go early and buy an old computer while you’re there!” she added while holding up an advertisement/coupon that was pasted on the inside of an old desktop tower. “That’s a bad idea” my father countered. I told them that I wasn’t so easily swayed by advertising anyways.

Someone showed me a screenshot from EU4 where Castile had colonized all of the Americas. I wanted to in return show one where Germany had conquered the two continents but was unable to find it through my browsing history.
