I climbed into the shipping container to attend my Japanese class of three students. The teacher told us that the next two weeks were going to be “regular” lessons, meaning that our daily routines will remain pretty much the same. We went over old assignments that we had skipped in the workbook and for some reason a large portion of the pages had been ripped out of mine. I had to complete most of my work off of someone else’s book. I felt like I wasn’t really learning anything.

I was downloading a program called “Sirvara” which had a red icon. While it was downloading, I searched online to check if it was malicious and one result from Google reported that it was a “virus, spyware, and a scam”. I frantically tried to wake up from the dream as I was certain I wouldn’t have done this in real life.

I played a couple of games of Starcraft as the Terrans on Fastest Possible Map. We played 2v2 matches until we decided to switch to another game. This time we were playing some kind of custom defense map. I had 5 minerals, a Hatchery and a couple of burrowed Zerglings to the right, and a few Hydralisks near the middle of the map. I didn’t know what to do until the first few waves had already passed so we decided to remake the game. However I couldn’t find the lobby again after quitting the game.

I dropped my books off at the gate before walking onto the lawn where everyone was watching something on the projector screen. An old friend called for my name and I looked around before joining him on the grass. After the event had ended, I stood under the tower while they threw down the books that didn’t get sold. “Hey, I never had this!” I shouted upwards while waving around a large book. Apparently I had forgotten to register what I was selling and the records had gotten mixed up. I went upstairs where I was given 27 dollars for the books that did get sold. I was cross referencing newspapers in an attempt to find out what books I had dropped off since my memory was failing me.

It was the end of class and I uncharacteristically stood up to give a rant about feeling cheated for not getting an advertised result. “It’s not about the quality” I argued but “being gamed”. I exited the classroom and looked at my watch to find out that it was now 14:00 and I had been talking for the last 15 minutes straight. I walked over to the bulletin board on the other side of the room which had “global” schedule posted. Everyone’s schedule fit into one of several templates represented by differently colored pins on a card. I was moving from the white timeslot into the yellow. The person next to me asked themselves, “so I’m green, huh?” before walking away.

There was a tiny mouse on the table and we wanted to make sure that it didn’t run away by surrounding it with folded newspapers. We were going to leave for a moment so I found a post-it and wrote: “Do not lift - small mouse inside” with a pen before setting it on the top of the stack.

I had been watching Star Wars movies the entire day at the airport while waiting for my (delayed) flight. I even went through all of the extra alternate endings and scenarios just to pass the time. I ordered a bubble tea and got out of my seat. As I walked out onto the beach, I saw my dad and asked why he was still here for I thought he had taken an earlier flight home already. I sat down at the park table and poured a handful of sea salt onto the surface before rubbing it in. I saw my uncle and asked how his granddaughter was doing and whether or not he called her often. I heard the propellers of my plane spinning and quickly excused myself. I had nearly missed my flight.

There was an article in the newspaper directed at the “Atheists, Christians, and Jews” claiming that it didn’t matter to Jesus if we drank water or beer according to a “scientific study”. I attempted to take a snap of it to send to a friend for its sheer ridiculousness but I wasn’t able to fit the text into the frame while still reamining legible. I decided to try to retype excerpts of the article in a caption but struggled to do so. For some reason, I needed to type the character “ē” and was trying to find the accent mark.

… We were looking through the photo album when she pointed to a picture of someone standing under of a doorway shaped like a person. “Where is that?” she asked. I reminded her that it was across the windowsill that would have hornet nests all the time…

I was putting on my bulletproof vest as we were getting ready to go on a tour of the city. I put on my yellow reflective jacket and asked my brother if he thought the others were going to join us. “I doubt they will” he replied. He said he would teach us how to run away if they didn’t. We were originally going to be going into an “indoor city” but we ended up simply walking around town.
