It was that time of year again. We expected them to come tumbling down the hill with their incomprehensible and horrifying screams as we huddle up in our bunkers until they passed by us. “Run and hide!” someone shouted as the first of them came whizzing from the trees. I found a group of people who were shaking in their blanket fort and joined them. We closed our eyes and hoped for the best.
