We were driving to a concert that was being held in a large parking complex. I thought about how it must’ve not been very long since I had abandoned my laptop running when I left the country. I thought that perhaps I still had time to save it.

I was walking down an extremely large set of steps that had a black and white checkerboard pattern on them. There was a wall on which I could lean on to the right while on the left was a steep drop to the bottom. I had nearly tipped over a bottle of alcohol over that edge when I pushed some couches out of the way.

I was kneading large clumps of dough with my brother. When the dough came into contact with the oil-water mixture in the bowl, we were able to push out individual hardened kernels of macaroni pasta.

We were standing around the wooden park table while picking at the grilled chicken breasts that were on a metal tray that stretched the entire length of the surface. The meat was a little dry but it seemed to be seasoned pretty well. Someone asked me if I had attended our “Reactor/Space” class as they had a special session today. I told them that I didn’t. “Well then, you’re dead” they quickly responded. I remembered how someone once told me that I should look at other people’s teeth when talking to them.

My mom asked me if I was going to eat at [some mall] anytime soon. “If you do, you can go early and buy an old computer while you’re there!” she added while holding up an advertisement/coupon that was pasted on the inside of an old desktop tower. “That’s a bad idea” my father countered. I told them that I wasn’t so easily swayed by advertising anyways.

Someone showed me a screenshot from EU4 where Castile had colonized all of the Americas. I wanted to in return show one where Germany had conquered the two continents but was unable to find it through my browsing history.

We looked outside of the window as the typhoon raged on. The beat got successively louder as the wind started to pick up the pots and cages on the rooftop gardens. Several sheds made out of metal sheets had their doors blown open. I was especially fixated on one that was painted light green.

I was either in a classroom or in someone’s residence. I couldn’t tell. But what I knew for sure was that you couldn’t hear the music anymore if you walked too far down the hallway. It was probably coming from the second floor.

The second sink in the bathroom was overflowing. A red and yellow liquid continuously flowed out of the drain in spurts, making a splash whenever the water hit the ground. There was an empty glass jar next to the sink, with a label indicating that it had once contained tomatoes.
